Multiple things need to happen to get a valid recording of air swings. Here is the list:
- Make sure you are using one of the following modes: Bunker, Short game, or Full Swing. We suggest using Full Swing to not worry about swing speed parameters. Along with air swings turned on.
-
If you're not using the training, you still have to make sure the alignment of the sensor is completed.
The alignment of the sensor is a very important part of utilizing the sensor. The Alignment works as the calibration of the sensor. When placing the standard grip attachment on the grip of the club. Make sure the attachment is flush with the top of the club grip. Flip the top part of the attachment down so that it sits on top of the sensor. Insert your sensor with the blast man logo’s head aligned with the top of the clubhead.
The alignment of the sensor needs to be as close as possible to the top of the clubhead. There can be a 5% percentage variance to the left or right. Anything outside of that and it wouldn’t work.
- While using air swings do not make contact with anything or the swing will not register (no hitting tee, grass, ground, ball, etc).
- Make sure to pause between swings 2-3 seconds.
- The swing signature is what the sensor is always looking for validate a swing. That mean you need to take your normal swing. If you exaggerate any parts of your swing it will not register.

Please follow these best practices to ensure you are getting the most accurate Blast Golf metric values for your swing:
1. When you hold your speed trainer, make sure that your hand is not touching the Swing Analyzer grip attachment.
2. When you’re ready to swing, make sure to start with your speed trainer in a stationary position before starting your backswing.
3. Make sure that your swing follows the path of a normal golf swing, doing a single backswing then forward swing.
(NOTE: In Level 4 of the SuperSpeed Golf protocols, you should do the Sprint position as described in the protocol. All of your swings may not be captured, but that is expected.)
