How do you play Blast Off

You’ll take just 5 swings, and we’ll score each one based on your Bat Speed value and total up the scores to see how close you got to getting Blast Man to the moon. It takes 500 points to get him up there. The best part is that we’ll personalize your scoring if you’ve taken enough recent Live > Practice mode not Live > Games mode) swings. If we can’t personalize the scoring, we’ll use the level of play on your profile to do the scoring.

• Game assets
  • Speed boosters
    • If available, a max of 1-speed booster is automatically applied per game
      • When applied, the user can take a 6^th swing, and the scoring will be based on the 5 swings with the highest Bat Speeds (i.e., the swing with the lowest Bat Speed will be discarded)
    • Swing analyzer users can earn these by taking air swings in Practice mode – 1 speed booster earned for every 20 valid air swings taken in a given calendar day
• Scoring
  • Points are earned for each swing based on how close the Bat Speed is to the target Bat Speed for the user for the gameplay level
    • Target Bat Speeds are personalized based on the user’s swing data if he has enough recent data
    • If the user doesn’t have enough recent swings to personalize the scoring, the target Bat Speed will be based on the level of play on the user’s level of play
  • It takes 500 points in a game to get Blast Man’s rocket to the moon, and it will travel farther into space if the game score is higher than that
