The Blast Baseball has three different modes: Online, Offline, and Video. These different modes can also be applied to air swings. Follow these instructions for initial utilization of each mode. Follow these instructions for initial utilization of each mode:
iOS
Online Mode
1. Make sure the sensor is connected to Blast Baseball. If not, Select Menu > Sensor > Tap on Sensor.
2. Make sure the sensor is in attachment on Bat.
3. Go to the Live screen to capture live metrics.
4. Tap on the pill on the top right.
5. Swipe the radio button to the right to turn on the air swings.
6. Set Environment, and Layout options, and tap on Start Practice.
7. Take your first swing.
Offline Mode
1. Connect to Blast Baseball to view battery level. If not Select Menu > My Sensor > Tap on Sensor. If the battery is below 20%, charge the sensor.
2. Make sure the sensor is connected to the bat that will be used. Menu > My Bats > Tap on Bat.
3. Go to the Live screen to turn on the air swing.
4. Tap on the pill on the top right.
5. Swiping the radio button to the right to turn on the air swings.
6. Once the battery level is verified and the correct bat is selected the app can be closed.
7. Take your first swing.
8. Once your swings have been completed, connect your sensor back to the app.
Tap on the menu icon with a blue circle notification. Tap on the arrows circling around with the blue dot.
9. Select the “UPLOAD” button. The records will Download Swings.
- View the metrics records in the Swings.
Video Mode
1. Make sure the sensor is connected to Blast Baseball. If not, Select Menu > Sensor > Tap on Sensor.
2. Make sure the sensor is in attachment on Bat.
3. Go to the Live screen to turn on the air swing.
4. Tap on the pill on the top right.
5. Swiping the radio button to the right to turn on the air swings.
6. Tap on the Start Practice button.
7. Tap on Swing Details.
8. Tap on Select Pill and select your practice setup.
9. Tap on the Camera icon to open the camera and tap on the record button to start the video.
10. Take your first swing.
11. Tap on the red circle record button to finish.
12. Multiple swings can be recorded on one video. Therefore, video recordings do not have to be stopped between swings.
13. Videos can be viewed on Video Library. Once you have made contact you can view your metrics.
Android
Online Mode
- Make sure the sensor is connected to Blast Baseball. If not, Select on Menu > Sensor > Tap on Sensor.
- Make sure the sensor is in attachment on Bat.
- Go to the Dashboard screen to capture live metrics.
- Turn on the air swing by swipping the feature to the right.
- Take your first swing.

Once you have made contact you can view your metrics.
Offline Mode
- Connect to Blast Baseball to view battery level. If not Select on Menu > My Sensor > Tap on Sensor. If the battery is below 20%, charge the sensor.
- Make sure the sensor is connected to the bat that will be used. Menu > My Bats > Tap on Bat.
- Turn on the air swing by swipping the feature to the right on the live screen.
- Once the battery level is verified and the correct bat is selected the app can be closed.
- Take your first swing.
- Once your swings have been completed, connect your sensor back to the app.
- Tap the blue circle notification. Tap on the arrows circling around with the blue dot.
- Select the “UPLOAD” button. The records will Download Swings.
- View the metrics records in the Swings.
Video Mode
- Make sure the sensor is connected to Blast Baseball. If not, Select on Menu > Sensor > Tap on Sensor.

- Tap on the circle record button.
- Take your first swing.
- Tap on the red circle record button to finish.
